Fiat announces official car sponsorship of the 2010 Flora Women’s Mini Marathon

Fiat Group Automobiles Ireland today announced it will be the Official Car Sponsor of the 2010 Flora Women’s Mini Marathon.
One of the sporting highlights of the summer season, the Mini Marathon will take place on Bank Holiday Monday, 7th June 2010 at 3.00pm, highlights of which will be broadcast on RTE news and Setanta Sports. A fiat model will hold the race clock during the marathon and a sporty Fiat Bravo will be the first car over the finish line ahead of the runners.
About The Mini Marathon
The Flora Women's Mini Marathon is the biggest all women's event of its kind in the world. It has grown steadily in numbers since it began in 1983 with its popularity increasing significantly over the last few years. Over those years some 600,000 women have entered the event - and the Flora Women's Mini Marathon had a record field of 40,516 on Bank Holiday Monday, June 2nd, 2008.
Competition
To celebrate the first of a three year partnership with the Flora Mini Marathon organisers, Fiat will be giving away an award winning eco friendly chic Fiat 500 to one lucky entrant. Each entrant will be in with a chance to win the car providing prospective runners with an added incentive to partake in the marathon.
