Fiat Group Automobiles Ireland today announced great value prices on the highly anticipated Fiat 500C. Prices start from just €16,195 for the Pop version. This price positions the car comfortably ahead of the competition as the most affordable convertible available on the Irish Market by an incredible €8,000; it's bringing the convertible to the masses

Availability
Pop and Lounge versions of the new 500C will be available In Ireland from January 2010.
Due to unprecedented demand in Europe and the UK, limited quantities of just 40 units are available for the Irish market. This is on a first come first serve basis. It is the must have convertible for 2010 in terms of desirability, exclusivity and value for money; the Fiat 500C has it all.
Technology
The new Fiat 500C pays homage to the original 1957 Fiat 500 and its fabric roof, but also offers innovative solutions in terms of mechanical design, engines and comfort.
Functions standard in all cars include:
- An electrically operated hood
- air conditioning
- remote control locking
- radio/CD/MP3 player
- seven airbags
- electric door mirrors
Climate control, fog lights, rear parking sensors, Blue& Me and eco:Drive are among the principal features incorporated in Lounge models.
- Blue & Me is Fiats hands-free entertainment information and communications system
- eco:Drive, the computer technology which monitors a drivers style and gives tips on how to save fuel and reduce emissions.
Exterior and Interior Colours
Available in 11 colors – including the newly-created Tech House Grey and RaggaMuffin Red – the 500 C comes with red, ivory or black roof colors.
- Pop: Pop interiors can be specified in either ivory or black finish with red or grey cloth seat colors.
- Lounge: Lounge specification offers an ivory or black interior with black or brown cloth seats. Frau Leather is also available as an option
Engines
The new Fiat 500C is powered by the same ultra-low emissions and Euro 5 range of engines as already available in the hard-top Fiat 500. This includes the:
- 69bhp (51kW) 1.2-litre petrol
- 75bhp (56kW) 1.3-litre turbodiesel
- 100bhp (75kW) 1.4-litre petrol.
Power is delivered through manual or Dualogic (automatic) transmissions. Fiat's fuel-saving Start & Stop system will also be available. The innovative Start & Stop system stops the engine automatically whenever traffic conditions bring the car to a complete halt and restarts it when the driver wants to move off again.
