Warranty Coverage
The warranty coverage applicable to the vehicle depends on the vehicle type and the date of first registration or sale.
Vehicles Sold or Registered on or before 31 December 2025
Passenger Vehicles
Vehicle Warranty
The vehicle is covered by a Vehicle Warranty for a period of three (3) years or 100,000 kilometres, whichever occurs first. This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship arising during normal use.
Paint Warranty
The paintwork is covered for a period of three (3) years or 100,000 kilometres, whichever occurs first, against manufacturing defects in the paint finish.
Anti-Perforation Warranty
The vehicle body is covered against corrosion perforation (rust-through from the inside out) for a period of twelve (12) years from the date of first registration, irrespective of mileage.
High-Voltage (HV) Battery Warranty
For electric and hybrid vehicles, the high-voltage battery is covered for eight (8) years or 160,000 kilometres, whichever occurs first.
High-Voltage (HV) Components Warranty
High-voltage electrical components are covered for three (3) years or 100,000 kilometres, whichever occurs first.
Commercial Vehicles

Paint Warranty
The paintwork is covered for a period of three (3) years or 150,000 kilometres, whichever occurs first.
